Urano Motosu, a book-loving college student and aspiring librarian, dies in an accident shortly after securing her dream job. She is reincarnated in a medieval-era world as Myne, a sickly five-year-old girl, the daughter of a poor soldier. To her dismay, this new world has a low literacy rate, and books are scarce, expensive, and primarily owned by the nobility. Determined to read again, Myne resolves to create books herself, using her knowledge from her previous life to achieve her goal of living surrounded by literature.
