In the year 2099, an Apollo rocket capsule, seemingly 65 million years old, is discovered in the Mongolian desert. Concurrently, a mysterious black artifact on Mars begins to consume one of its moons. The Earth ship Davide is dispatched to investigate these anomalies. During its mission, the Davide is drawn into a vortex, transporting Lila Mochizuki and her crew far from Earth.
