Tiger & Bunny

Synopsis

Sternbild City is a metropolis shared by people of many races and backgrounds, including the "NEXT," individuals born with special powers. Some NEXT work as corporate-sponsored superheroes, wearing company logos on their suits while stopping criminals and rescuing citizens. Their exploits are broadcast live on the hit program "Hero TV," where arrests and rescues earn Hero Points that decide a yearly ranking and the title of "King of Heroes." Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, known as Wild Tiger, is a hotheaded veteran with a strong sense of justice who prefers to work alone and readily damages property in the name of public safety, which has earned him the unflattering nickname "Crusher for Justice." With his popularity past its peak and his ranking slipping, he is abruptly paired with Barnaby Brooks Jr., a talented but difficult rookie who uses his real name and holds a very different view of heroism.
