MAGICAL GIRL RAISING PROJECT restart

Synopsis

Magical Girl Raising Project restart is an anime adaptation of Asari Endou's light novel series, set in the same world as the earlier Magical Girl Raising Project anime. A social network game quietly selects a rare few players to become real magical girls, each receiving a unique power and a life of unusual good fortune. Among the chosen is Pechka, whose magic makes food delicious. She and sixteen other magical girls, all with distinct personalities, are gathered for what is presented as a training exercise to sharpen their abilities. Every three days, their Magical Phones draw them into an RPG-like virtual simulation, where they must fight enemies, solve puzzles and collect Magical Candy to progress. A reward of ten billion yen is promised at the end. Hiroyuki Hashimoto returns as director.
