Sword Art Online

Synopsis

In 2022, a new Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online (SAO) is launched. Players use a device called NerveGear to control their avatars with their thoughts, fully immersing them in the game's world, Aincrad. Among the ten thousand players is Kazuto Kirigaya, nicknamed Kirito, who was also a beta-tester. However, the game's creator traps all players inside, revealing that they cannot log out. The only way to escape is to clear all one hundred levels of the game. Furthermore, if a player dies in the game, they die in real life, making their struggle for survival a deadly reality.
