Detective Conan

Synopsis

Shinichi Kudo is a 17-year-old high school detective, celebrated as a modern Sherlock Holmes, who regularly helps the police crack difficult cases. During an outing with his childhood friend Ran Mouri at the Tropical Land amusement park, he follows two men dressed in black and witnesses a shady deal. Absorbed in watching, he is struck from behind, and the men force an experimental poison down his throat to silence him. Instead of dying, Shinichi wakes up in the body of a seven-year-old with his intellect intact. Fearing the criminal organization will come after him and those close to him, he hides his true identity. With the help of his neighbor, the inventor Dr. Agasa, he takes the alias Conan Edogawa, a name drawn from Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Ranpo. He then moves in with Ran and her father, the bumbling private detective Kogoro Mouri.
