Akira Takagi, an apartment owner, encounters Oodoi, a man who bravely defends a stranger from a gang. Impressed by Oodoi's courage, Akira offers him a place to stay in his apartment building. Oodoi accepts and quickly makes himself comfortable, leading Akira to believe that Oodoi's initial heroic act was an anomaly. However, when Akira faces harassment from a mob and is pressured to sell his property, Oodoi once again steps in to protect him, revealing his true identity as a member of a prominent yakuza family.
