Hiroto Amou dreams of becoming the first Japanese and Asian actor to win an Academy Award. His life takes an unexpected turn when he reunites with Luna, a girl he was separated from 15 years prior due to an explosion. However, Luna has no memory of the past, a consequence of Hiroto's adoptive father, Don Gappana, having stolen her memories. The explosion that separated them was an act of terrorism orchestrated by Gappana to assassinate Phoenix, who was then the FBI director.
