awaiting

简介

A man drifts alone in a small boat, patiently awaiting someone's arrival. The specific identity of the person he anticipates, or the reason for his vigil, remains ambiguous. His primary desire is to prolong the fleeting experience of "happiness," a sensation he knows can vanish instantly. This short film was created as a first-year project in 2012 at the Tokyo University of the Arts, within the Graduate School of Film and New Media's Department of Animation.
