Seiji Aino is an ordinary high school boy who quietly admires Akane Hiyama, the beautiful and popular girl at his school, without believing he has any chance with her. His life changes when Guri, a girl dressed like a Shinigami, turns up at his door. She is actually a cupid whose job is to form couples, and she carries the Kiss Note, a magical notebook that makes any two people whose names are written together kiss and fall in love. While absorbed in her yaoi fantasies, Guri misspelled a name and accidentally wrote down Seiji's. Unless he kisses someone and is paired within 24 hours, Guri will die and Seiji will stay a virgin for the rest of his life. With the clock running, Guri pushes Seiji to win over his crush in this high-energy romantic comedy.
