Michiru Amatsuki, a 20-year-old from the countryside, moves to Tokyo after changing careers and takes a place at Stella House Haruno, a share house for women only. Her housemates, three other women, differ widely in age and occupation, yet they share a love of good food and drink. Michiru's new neighbours turn out to enjoy every aspect of drinking, and the story follows their evenings at home, where they gather over meals and alcoholic beverages for a relaxed, cheerful time. Adapted from a manga, the series is a slice-of-life comedy built around the everyday lives and friendships of these roommates.
