Tsuyoshi Mukouda, an unremarkable 27-year-old from modern Japan, is pulled into a fantasy world of swords and magic during a ritual meant to summon three heroes. He was caught up in the summoning by accident, and his stats look feeble beside those of the real heroes. Sensing that the kingdom behind the ritual intends to exploit its summoned champions, he leaves the palace to make his own way. His only asset is a unique skill called "Online Supermarket," which opens an interface for buying food and other everyday goods from modern Japan. The ability is worthless in battle, and Mukouda hopes it can at least secure him a quiet, comfortable life. However, the food he obtains through it turns out to have absurd effects, and the modern dishes he cooks taste unlike anything the people of this world have eaten.
