Superpan is a manga about Kazuo Ikeuchi, a 36-year-old salaryman who secretly moonlights as the superhero Superpan. He hails from 500 million light-years away and arrived on Earth to protect it, having previously defeated the Great King of Terror in 1999. In his everyday life, Kazuo faces the mundane challenges of a tired office worker. He returns home to a wife who is out and a demanding daughter, Risa, who expects him to cook dinner. Despite his heroic past, his current battles often involve domestic tasks, which he tackles with his extraordinary powers.
