Mysterious deaths occur where victims are inexplicably dismembered. The situation escalates when Homura Kei's computer class of 36 students is massacred. Kei survives because she skipped class. That night, a hacker named Yuon visits her, claiming to have also lost someone to the killer. Yuon reveals that a program, activated by a blue butterfly image on a computer screen, is being used to murder people. Kei and Yuon must find the murderer before they become the next targets.
