Описание

Daibousou is an anthology of three one-shot manga stories by Tezuka, all from 1969. The titular story, "Daibousou" (The Runaway Tanker), follows newscaster Goro Tsukinashi aboard the maiden voyage of the Osakabe Maru, the world's first atomic-powered, computer-operated oil tanker, as it encounters numerous malfunctions. "Kojinkyou" (Land of the Tigermen) features television director Goro Ibukuro, who exploits others for his show, journeying to Borneo to film a tribe of "Tigermen" rumored to possess a miracle cure. The third story, "Kiiro Makyou" (The Spaceman's Base), is set during the Occupation of Tripoli in World War II, where two American soldiers and a German soldier are taken hostage by a Japanese boy who drives them to the enigmatic ruins of Wadan-Wadan.
