Takao Kasuga is a high school student with a deep love for literature, particularly Charles Baudelaire's "Les Fleurs du Mal." He harbors a secret admiration for his classmate, Nanako Saeki, viewing her as his muse. One day, after forgetting his book in the classroom, Takao returns to retrieve it and impulsively steals Nanako's gym uniform. This act is witnessed by Sawa Nakamura, an eccentric and friendless girl in his class. Instead of exposing him, Nakamura blackmails Takao, forcing him into a strange "contract" where he must do whatever she asks, threatening to reveal his secret if he refuses.
