In modern society, a new "illness" called "Net Addiction" affects young people, driven by loneliness, disbelief, and outrage, leading them to excessive internet and technology use. To combat this, rehabilitation facilities are established to guide the youth back to the "right path." Hibiki, a severe internet addict, is enrolled in one such facility. However, he soon discovers that this institution is less of a rehabilitation center and more of a prison, with strict rules and no escape. He was brought there at his mother's insistence, who was concerned about his belligerent behavior.
