The Wounded Devil

Trama

Mai Kasai, a high school student, relocates from Tokyo to a rural area due to her father's job transfer. She anticipates an easy transition into her new school, believing she can navigate its social dynamics. However, her expectations are shattered when she discovers that Shino, a former classmate whom Mai's friends had severely bullied in middle school, is now attending the same school. Although Mai never directly participated in the bullying, she was a silent observer, and Shino was forced to transfer schools because of it.
