The Calling

Trama

This manga is an adaptation of Patricia A. McKillip's novel "The Forgotten Beasts of Eld." The story centers on Sybel, who has lived her entire life on Eld Mountain, surrounded only by a magical menagerie of creatures. Her isolated existence changes dramatically at age sixteen when a baby is brought to her to raise. This new responsibility awakens emotions she has never experienced before. Her world is further disrupted when Coren, the man who entrusted her with the child, eventually returns.
