Sky is a collection of four one-shot manga by Noboru Rokuda, originally published between 1992 and 1995, exploring the relationship between humanity and the sky. The first story, "Return of the Heroes" (also referred to as "Return of the Brave"), introduces Annie, who seeks the approval of her fiancé Eddie Rickenbacker's war hero father, Robert Rickenbacker, before their marriage. The second story, "The plaything of the orphans" (also referred to as "Orphans' Toys"), follows childhood friends Albert and Richard as their lives diverge after enlisting in World War I.
