Emma

Trama

In late 19th-century England, society is sharply divided between the aristocracy and the working class. William Jones, the son of a wealthy merchant, visits his former governess and meets Emma, a diligent and beautiful maid. An immediate connection forms between them, which deepens through subsequent encounters. However, their significant difference in social status presents a major obstacle to their relationship, as society dictates marriage within one's own rank.
