Trama

Chiba Tamao is on the run from Yakuza debt collectors when he encounters Kurotengu, a mysterious man who expresses a desire to "eat him." Kurotengu saves Tamao's life, revealing himself to be a Tengu, a type of Japanese demon known as a mononoke. These mononoke survive by feeding on beautiful human spirits. To repay a friend of Kurotengu's who settled Tamao's debt, Tamao must now join Kuro in a boy band, navigating the world of Paradistar where mononoke live among humans, all while risking the possibility of being consumed by them.
