Tokio Myouji is a high school student struggling academically when he encounters Mayuri, his half-sister. Mayuri is the daughter of Tokio's father, who vanished in India, and an Indian mother. Mayuri exhibits an unusual response to a mantra emanating from the statue of the Peacock Myou, the guardian deity of Myouji Temple. Their meeting marks the beginning of a conflict involving gods and demons.
