Hinako Momotsuki is a high school student who dedicates her time to otaku activities, particularly her love for the anime "Puri Puri." Unbeknownst to others, she possesses a hidden ability: by uniting with a mysterious centipede-like life form known as "Maji," she transforms into a hero. In this altered state, she battles to protect her town from other "Maji" entities and to safeguard her unrequited love, Himoru-senpai.
