Yuuta Sakura, a third-year middle school student, prides himself on his "invincible strength" in arcade fighting games. While at a game center, he encounters another boy named Takemichi Umesaki. Their meeting leads to an entanglement with a group of delinquents. A swordsman named Azuya Momoyama intervenes, defeating the delinquents with an unusual weapon and fighting style.
