In 19th-century London, within the East End, the Antilia Family mafia is led by alchemist Lee Heartrib. As the current head, Lee is tasked with protecting the city and uses his alchemical abilities to maintain order among the populace. His ultimate goal is to establish a "paradise" for everyone, even if it means engaging in morally ambiguous actions. This pursuit often puts him at odds with other mafia leaders and mysterious entities seeking to eradicate humanity.
