Heroine Complex is a collection of four stories, including the titular "Heroine Complex," "Iki mo Dekinai," "Konna Hi wa Kimi ni Furetai," and "Sekai Gijinka Keikaku." One of the stories, "Konna Hi wa Kimi ni Furetai," follows Mifuyu's strange encounter with a straightforward boy on a rooftop. Another story centers on the friendship between the shy girl Koyuki, the school beauty Nagisa, and the Student Council President Shin, exploring their relationships and the events surrounding the school festival's "NO. 1 Beauty" Contest.
