Good-Bye is a collection of short stories by Yoshihiro Tatsumi, a Japanese cartoonist known for expanding manga storytelling with gritty, literary narratives about everyday people. Drawn in 1971 and 1972, these stories explore themes of depravity and disorientation in 20th-century Japan. The narratives feature various characters, including a woman in a relationship with an American soldier at the end of World War II, a man with a foot fetish, and a public onanist, all navigating their lives amidst despair and fleeting pleasures.
