Color Engineering is the fourth volume by Yokoyama for PictureBox, designed and edited by the artist. It features both older and previously unseen imagery from the 2000s, alongside numerous color drawings and paintings created in 2010 during a six-week open studio event in Tokyo. These works, some reproduced as gatefold pages, are integrated with comic-strip sequences utilizing diverse techniques such as photography, marker drawings, and hyper-real portraiture. The collection explores themes of machines, architecture, and post-human fashion.
