Izumi harbors a strong dislike for his classmate and tennis team member, Asakura. This animosity stems from a comment Asakura made during practice, questioning Izumi's happiness after winning a point. Feeling resentful, Izumi began skipping practice. However, Asakura, realizing his words were the cause, apologized to Izumi out of concern. This unexpected gesture leads Izumi to reconsider his initial perception of Asakura, prompting him to wonder about the true nature of the seemingly expressionless boy and finding Asakura occupying his thoughts more frequently. The story follows the development of their budding romance.
