Trama

In 1955 Japan, Mario Minakami and five other teenagers are sent to Shounan Special Reform School after being arrested for various criminal charges. Assigned to the same cell, they meet Rokurouta Sakuragi, an older inmate and former boxer. Under Rokurouta's guidance, the six new arrivals form a strong bond with him, finding a glimmer of hope in their dire circumstances. Together, the seven cellmates must endure the daily suffering and humiliation inflicted by the sadistic guard Ishihara and the abusive doctor Gisuke Sasaki, as they strive to survive their sentences.
