Trama

In 1986, Kenzo Tenma, a Japanese neurosurgeon working in Düsseldorf, Germany, has a promising career and is engaged to the hospital director's daughter. However, he becomes disillusioned with the hospital's policy of prioritizing influential patients. When a young boy named Johan is admitted with a gunshot wound to the head, Tenma defies orders to operate on the mayor and instead saves Johan's life. This decision costs him his career and engagement. Shortly after, the hospital director and other key staff are mysteriously murdered, and Johan and his twin sister, Anna, disappear from the hospital.
