Shinichirou Asano, a high school student struggling to pay rent after his parents abandoned him, takes on a housekeeping job. His employer turns out to be Sakuya Shimazu, a beautiful but ill-mannered classmate and the 37th head of the Shimazu family. The Shimazu family are exorcists who specialize in sealing and eliminating supernatural creatures using Spirit Archery. Shinichirou accidentally releases one of the creatures Sakuya had sealed, forcing them to cooperate to recapture it. This incident marks the beginning of Shinichirou's involvement in Sakuya's battles against monsters.
