GJ8man

Trama

Gorou Joe is a young man leading a relaxed life in Gujo Hachiman, a historic town located in Gifu prefecture. His ordinary existence takes an unexpected turn when an elderly woman, who claims to be a "water fairy," appears before him. She instructs Joe to assist others and bestows upon him the ability to transform into "GJ8 Man." The name is a play on "Gujo Hachiman," as the number eight is pronounced "hachi" in Japanese, and the "hachi" in "Hachiman" uses the kanji for eight.
