Trama

In an alternate late 19th-century Europe, humanity faces a grave threat from Akuma, mechanical weapons created by the enigmatic Millennium Earl. These Akuma are formed from the souls of the dead, trapped within biomechanical bodies, and are used by the Earl in his plot to destroy the world. Allen Walker, a young man with a cursed eye that can see the suffering souls within Akuma and an anti-Akuma weapon as an arm, is one of the few who possess "Innocence," a divine substance capable of destroying these monsters. He joins the Black Order, an organization of Exorcists dedicated to fighting the Millennium Earl and his Akuma, to prevent global annihilation.
