Anapoko is an animated work created by Nakajima after graduating from Tama Art University. It was developed with the intention of being submitted to the Sogetsu Animation Festival. Due to limited funding, Nakajima utilized a unique technique called "Kaki-mation," which involved drawing directly onto 35mm film. During this period, Nakajima was a frequent visitor to Studio Zero, a prominent mainstream animation production company of the time.
