Ametsuchi

Trama

Ametsuchi is a puppet animation by Tomoyasu Murata that retells the creation myths found in the Kojiki, specifically focusing on its first volume. The narrative describes the genesis of the Japanese archipelago, detailing how the land was formed through natural phenomena such as earthquakes, volcanoes, and climate change. This foundational myth features various deities who play roles in the world's inception.
