Maitetsu

Sinopsis

In the fictional Japanese setting of Hinomoto, railway travel was once the primary mode of transportation, with each locomotive assisted by a humanoid control module called a Raillord. However, the advent of aerocrafts led to the discontinuation of many rail lines and their Raillords entering a deep sleep. Migita Sotetsu, who lost his family in a rail accident, returns to his hometown of Ohitoyo. He aims to prevent the construction of an aerocraft factory that threatens to pollute the local river and seeks an alternative to stimulate the town's declining economy. While going through his late foster father's belongings, Sotetsu accidentally awakens a Raillord named Hachiroku.
