The Mystic Archives of Dantalian

Sinopsis

Six months after his eccentric grandfather, Sir Wesley Disward, passes away, Hugh Anthony Disward, also known as Huey, inherits his old mansion and vast book collection. However, the will stipulates that Huey must also become the guardian of the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, an archive of forbidden knowledge, and look after a mysterious girl named Dalian. Huey discovers Dalian in the mansion's basement, quietly reading among piles of books. Dalian, who wears a large padlock on her chest, is the gateway to the Bibliotheca Mystica de Dantalian, which houses dangerous "Phantom Books" or "Gensho"—forbidden tomes of demonic wisdom that threaten the world's balance. The story, set in the 1920s, follows Huey and Dalian as they work together to seal away these powerful and cursed books.
