Texhnolyze

Sinopsis

In the isolated underground city of Lux, various criminal factions control a society living in fear and despair. The city's primary resource, "raffia," is used for "texhnolyze" transplants, cybernetic prostheses that replace body parts without immune rejection. Ichise, a former boxer, loses an arm and a leg and is subsequently texhnolyzed by Dr. Eriko Kamata. He is then drawn into the complex power struggles of Lux, particularly with Organo, an organization led by Keigo Oonishi, who himself has texhnolyzed legs. Amidst this turmoil, a young florist named Ran, who possesses the ability to see the future, guides Ichise, as a mysterious visitor named Kazuho Yoshii disrupts the city's fragile balance.
