Sinopsis

Perestroika is a short animated series consisting of 12 episodes, each two minutes in length. It follows the misadventures of three Russian emigrants living in an unnamed country. Constantly facing destitution, their primary concern is securing their next meal. This perpetual hunger often leads them into bizarre predicaments or prompts them to devise peculiar schemes. The animation uniquely blends analog and digital techniques, utilizing 1:12" and 1:24" scale miniature backgrounds and props to evoke the aesthetic of traditional stop-motion.
