Kkokdu

Sinopsis

Jacob, an 11-year-old boy, embarks on a search for kokdu dolls to commemorate his final moments with his grandmother. During his quest, he inadvertently crosses into the world inhabited by these dolls. Kokdu, or "funeral dolls," are wooden figures historically used in the funeral practices of the Joseon Dynasty. They were placed on biers to accompany and safeguard the deceased on their journey to the afterlife, symbolizing a warm farewell rather than a fearful end.
