Itsuwari

Sinopsis

Itsuwari is a music video for a song by Miu. The video's theme draws inspiration from the historical event of Japan's first exquisite counterfeit bill, a 1,000 Yen note discovered in the winter of 1962. This counterfeit was so skillfully made that its perpetrator was never apprehended. One such bill was even placed in a time capsule alongside a genuine one at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. The narrative explores the idea of deception, likening the counterfeit bill's ability to fool everyone to the person described in the song, and questions whether believing one's own lies can transform them into truth.
