Future Boy Conan

Sinopsis

In July 2008, an ultra-magnetic weapon, far more devastating than any known nuclear weapon, destroyed half the world, causing massive geological upheaval and submerging most continents. Attempts to flee Earth failed, but one spaceship crash-landed on a small, miraculously surviving island. Years later, a boy named Conan is born there. Raised by his grandfather, Conan believes they are the last humans until he discovers a girl named Lana washed ashore. Lana reveals she is being pursued by the technologically advanced nation of Industria, which seeks to use her grandfather, Dr. Lao, for their machinery. When Industria's forces kidnap Lana, Conan sets off from his island to rescue her.
