Sinopsis

This animated work is the first installment of the "Bungaku Bideo" collaboration, which merges contemporary Japanese literature with animation. It features a recitation of Hideo Furukawa's original work, "Totemo mijikai," by the author himself. The animation was handled by Koji Yamamura, depicting a man in Tokyo whose final utterance is the word "da" as he seeks out the shortest thing in the city.
