Devilman: The Demon Bird

Sinopsis

Demons, whose power far exceeds human comprehension, have existed since the dawn of time and are poised to re-emerge. Humanity stands no chance against them, so Ryo Asuka devises a plan: his kind-hearted friend, Akira Fudo, will allow himself to be possessed by a demon. Ryo believes that a pure-hearted individual can control the demon within, thereby gaining demonic power to fight other demons. The plan succeeds, and Akira merges with the powerful demon Amon, becoming Devilman. Now, Akira must balance his human heart with his new violent tendencies as he becomes humanity's sole champion against the hidden demonic menace.
