Waitress

Synopsis

The manga "Waitress" centers around a semi-basement cafe that serves as a sanctuary for women facing stressful daily lives. The cafe is run by Fujiko, the owner with a secret, and Etsuko, a baby-faced waitress, along with Kamuzo, a plump dog who acts as the mascot. Customers include a wife dealing with an abusive husband, a student who feels out of place at school, and a recently divorced editor. The establishment offers support to its patrons, sometimes even intervening in their troubles, providing a refreshing escape from their tiresome routines.
