RETURN

Synopsis

After a 40-year absence, Manjiro Ota returns to Wakaba City as its newly elected mayor. He harbors a deep-seated suspicion about the town, stemming from a past encounter with an old man he despised. Though this man has since passed away, his great-grandson, Michio Hoshimoriyama, is now a prominent figure in Wakaba City. Manjiro's objective is to dismantle the city, while Michio finds himself unwittingly manipulated. This narrative unfolds as a road race comic, exploring the intertwined fates of its characters and the city itself.
