In a world where music is scorned, Mek and Meb encounter parallel versions of themselves, both living and deceased. They must step into the shoes of their predecessor, Med, who is now deceased. The narrative explores how Med's friends perceive Mek and Meb, and whether the two can or even desire to alter the world's perception of music.
