Takako receives a distressing phone call from her best friend, who declares an intent to die before disappearing. In a desperate plea, Takako shouts into the phone, asking if anyone is there. To her surprise, a voice responds. Takako then makes an unusual request: she asks this mysterious entity to find her crying friend and bring her back. Takako waits, hoping that if her friend returns, she will be able to see the world anew.
